Our Monthly Drum Circle at Manzano Mesa continues the 3rd Friday of every month at the new start time, 7:15PM in Room 4. Doors open @ 7:00PM. We begin with a mini-lesson, then at 7:30PM - 8:45PM follow the facilitated in-the-moment music making format. Early arrival and RSVP/Instrument Reservation requested. Rhythm, one of the most fundamental elements of music, is innate to all of us. We can witness the active presence of it in the rate of our respiration, our heartbeat, and even the rhythms of our brain activity. We also feel it and hear it in our external environment as we connect with nature and our busy modern world.
Now individuals in our community can experience a joyful sharing that promotes self-expression, creativity, social connection and stress reduction.
